The company, Meghna International being relatively new in the manufacturing and export business of musical instrument parts was formed in the year 1998. The proprietor of the concern Mr. Partha pratim chowdhury himself having more than ten years experience in the manufacturing of these musical items initially started with the violin parts. In about two years time, the company started manufacturing parts for violas, cellos and double basses too. The companys manufacturing unit is located in New Barrackpur, just about 16 kms, to the North of kolkata. The company started with the exports of its parts in 2001 and today the company is exporting its entire production of violin, viola, cello and bass parts.
